Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in?

Joursy uses email-based sign-in — no password needed. Enter your email and we'll send you a 6-digit code. You can also sign in with your Google account.

How do I create a trip?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen, choose your destination, set your travel dates, and select your interests and pace. Joursy will generate a day-by-day itinerary for you.

Can I edit the generated itinerary?

Yes. You can add or remove stops directly from the map, drag stops to reorder them within a day, and regenerate individual days if you want a fresh plan.

Is Joursy free?

Joursy is free to download and use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core trip planning experience will remain free.

Why does Joursy need my location?

Location is optional and only used to show saved places near you on the Nearby tab. We never track your location in the background and do not store your location history.

How do I turn off notifications?

Go to your device Settings → Apps → Joursy → Notifications and toggle them off. Joursy sends optional daily reminders for upcoming trips — you can disable these at any time.

Can I share a trip with someone?

Yes. Open any trip and tap the share button to generate a link. You can also invite collaborators by email and give them Viewer or Editor access.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Delete Account inside the app. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. If you need help, email support@joursy.app.

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app under Profile → Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
